About the Work
“Mother” reflects a deeply personal journey through endometriosis, fertility, and the experience of motherhood. It speaks to the quiet resilience of the body and the emotional complexity that can accompany it.
At its core, this piece is about honoring the integrity of a woman’s body, its strength, its vulnerability, and its essential role in creation. It also extends beyond the personal, connecting to a broader awareness of how environment, sustainability, and modern living impact reproductive health and well-being.
The figure, both present and obscured, holds a tension between concealment and expression, mirroring the often unseen nature of these experiences. The swirling forms suggest both internal movement and an outward connection, linking the individual to something larger.
In this way, “Mother” becomes not only a reflection of personal experience, but also a quiet dialogue with Mother Earth, recognizing the parallels between caring for the body and caring for the environment that sustains it.

I am a weekend artist, guided by a deep appreciation for time, intention, and the creative process.
My work is rooted in a desire to inspire and uplift - bringing together color and form, into something vibrant, one canvas at a time.
I am also advocate for Creativity, which for me, extends beyond paintings. It is a way of seeing, experiencing and finding joy in everyday life.

As an artist primarily utilizing acrylics, I focus on vibrant colors and meticulous strokes to express personal experiences through a radiant palette. I was taught oil colors first and switched after becoming a mother.
