 Painting projects

Clearly, I am a hobbyist at heart.

art does not need to be a profession it can simply be a heartfelt exploration of self.

professional or amateur, the joy of creation is a reminder to explore a different side of you,  mix in some colors, and feel the inspirational flow.

Cali Spring

These paintings, influenced by the California sunshine, vividly capture the iconic poppy as a flame flower or cup of gold, dancing in vibrant shades of orange. The spring season brings these flowers into bloom and resonates with the warmth of April 6th afternoon - the California poppy day. Simple yet profound, it fosters a deep connection to the essence and spirit of the Californian landscape.

In these paintings, vibrant sunflowers, symbolize healing, freshness, and harmony. Each sunflower turns its head towards the sun, embodying positivity and the tenacity of life. Blackie's spirit

The horse's mane flows freely in the wind, its hooves barely touching the ground, suggesting a sense of freedom and joy. It's as if with each stride, the horse is not simply running, but dancing to the rhythm of the landscape. The painting is a connection to Blackie's spirit, to a favorite running spot, and to the timeless harmony that exists between nature and those who respect it.

Winning the adult category of the Library Card Design contest was a joyful reminder that creativity can bring people together. The summer of 2025, our local library invited our community to step away from screens and reconnect through hands-on art, And imagination. A library card is more than access to books, it’s a small piece of local culture you carry with you.

If your current card feels ordinary, click the link to find your local library and swap your old one in person for something that sparks curiosity, pride, and connection.
